The 6th Green
Kenneth Lochhead's historical works on canvas vary in presentation and finish. Early, abstract works on canvas and paper are composed of matte, saturated swathes of bright, high-contrasting colour, sometimes painted directly onto raw canvas. Figurative works are defined by the artist's signature, feathery brushstrokes that subtly mix unconventional, pastel palette. Works on canvas and paper are framed and unframed.
