Dan Dubowitz has exhibited internationally and has been the subject of numerous publications including three books, entitled “Wastelands,” “Fascismo Abbandonato,” and “The Peeps." Dubowitz was trained in architecture at Sheffield University. After working for Peter Eisenman in New York in the early nineties, he began to develop his practice of using photography in parallel with architectural work. From 1996-2002, Dubowitz co-directed the Heisenberg project in Glasgow, UK, and taught in architecture and fine art faculties in universities in the UK. In 2003, he established Civic Works to concentrate on photography and ‘cultural masterplanning.' Since then, Dubowitz has developed cultural masterplans for Ancoats, Glasgow, Sunderland, Newcastle, Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent in the UK.

Dubowitz’s projects and photographs have appeared in Frieze, the New York Times, The Guardian, The National Post and Art Review, among others.
