Bau-Xi Gallery is pleased to present New Flora, an exhibition of photographs by acclaimed Belgian artist, Isabelle Menin. New Flora features a selection from the artist’s newest series, Floating Angels (2021) and I Cherubini (2022). In this serene and sophisticated collection, Menin reveals intimate portraits in angelic blues and surreal spaces. Through her masterful eye for colour and composition, the artist builds quiet moments of reflection.
The subjects within Menin’s self-described “disorder landscapes” are documented with care, then digitally abstracted and reoriented to achieve the photographer's painterly expression.
Menin is a graduate of the Graphic Research School (ERG) in Brussels and has exhibited internationally in numerous art fairs and museums, Menin's works can be found in numerous private and corporate collections.
