Patagonia Toronto is excited to host a special evening with environmental activist and Canadian landscape painter, Kyle Scheurmann and the Nature-Based Solutions Foundation (NBSF) to kick off this year’s Art Auction for Old Growth (AAOG), an online charity art auction to help protect endangered old-growth forests in British Columbia.

Art Auction for Old-Growth joins some of Canada’s most renowned artists who come together each year to donate their artwork, with the hopes of protecting the ancient forests and ecosystems of British Columbia. 100% of the proceeds from AAOG support NBSF’s projects safeguarding endangered old-growth forests and Indigenous cultures in BC, Canada.
Guests will enjoy a private screening of “A Beautiful Resistance”, Kyle Scheurmann’s new documentary that captures how the artist uses his practice to bear witness to the deforestation happening in British Columbia. This will be followed by an intimate Q&A, presentation, and the opportunity to donate to AAOG.
There will also be a chance to take part in an Enter to Win, where the lucky recipient of the evening will be gifted a unique giveaway from Patagonia! Proceeds from the Enter to Win will go towards NBSF and Indigenous Climate Action.
