Jeffrey Milstein | Winner of 2026 Photography Award from Communication Arts
Bau-Xi is proud to share that Communications Arts has recently announced Jeffrey Milstein as the winner of their 2026 photography award, for his recent series, Two Hours Over Paris in a Helicopter.

In 2025, Milstein returned to the skies above Paris and tasked himself to document the iconic and historic city with a fresh outlook. While the process to get such approval was lengthy and came with logistical challenges - namely the small time windows provided to fly, or the unpredictable weather patterns - Milstein saw this as an opportunity to create a historical documentation of Paris at this moment in time.
This was especially poignant as Milstein was able to document the newly re-opened Notre Dame Cathedral, which had undergone a five-year repair and restoration programme after the catastrophic fire in April 2019.
Numerous images from this series will be published in the upcoming July/August issue from Communication Arts.
As the leading trade journal for visual communicators, and the largest creative magazine in the world, Communication Arts is the premier source of inspiration for visual arts practitioners since 1959.
