CORI CREED FEATURED PAINTING: CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY'S 2022 DAFFODIL BALL
Cori Creed’s ‘Spring Triumph’ triptych was the featured auction prize at the long-awaited Daffodil Ball gala fundraiser. Guests of the gala had the opportunity to bid in a silent or live auction, raising an incredible total amount of over one million dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).
Andrea Seale (CEO, CCS) talked about young adults being diagnosed with cancer almost every hour in Canada. Their unique needs are not being met well enough by the cancer care system of today, and thanks to the contributions at the Daffodill Ball, the Young Adults Cancer Fund can help close this gap. Creed’s painting sold well above the asking price, contributing considerably to the Young Adults Cancer Fund.
