Bau-Xi Vancouver proudly presents Peace of Mind, the new solo exhibition by Toronto based artist Vicki Smith. Smith invites viewers into a contemplative world where stillness, presence, and self-awareness emerge through her floating figures which act as portals to personal memories and recollections. In this new collection, Smith's swimmers meld with the luminous waterscapes and reflections, visually and symbolically becoming one. 

Rooted in the artist’s belief that painting is a form of meditation, these works offer a quiet refuge from the noise of everyday life, encouraging a deeper connection to the present moment and the possibility of inner calm.
