Jeffrey Milstein: Permanent Installation at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum

A new gallery at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington, is set to open in 2022 dedicated to general aviation and its impact on everyday life and influence on society. This new space—named the Thomas W. Haas We All Fly gallery—will permanently display seven large-scale Jeffrey Milstein airplane portraits from their permanent collection. These works, among others, were previously exhibited at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum from November 2011 to November 2012 as part of his year-long solo exhibition, Aircraft: The Jet as Art (first exhibited at the Ulrich Museum of Art, Wichita, in 2008).
