Waterline 02 - 2 Sizes
Waterline considers the complex relationship women have with nature. Using water as a metaphor for the rhythms of the female body, these images allude to the female experience. There are moments in a woman’s life that are easy and other times when there is struggle. Water allows us to experience both the push and pull as we move through life.
Mak's soft-focus images blur the boundary between painting and photography. The artist's inkjet prints have a UV laminate; they are mounted to an archival substrate and framed in white.
