Exposures Featured on University of Toronto DFCM News
Bau-Xi Gallery's exhibition presented in partnership with the University Health Network (UHN), Exposures, has been featured on the University of Toronto's Department of Family & Community Medicine.
Exposures: Early Days On The Front Lines Of The Pandemic features works by Dr. Megan Landes, Division Head of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family & Community Medicine (DFCM), and photographs by Dr. Brant Slomovic, faculty at U of T’s Department of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine, both emergency physicians at University Health Network (UHN). This two-person exhibition brings together both intimate impressions of their experiences, but also reveals a rare glimpse into the vulnerability of those moments. By engaging both the medical and the visual arts community, the artists wish to invite a conversation about how visual arts can harness ways of seeing, expressing, and ultimately, healing on the front lines.
Exposures is on view at Bau-Xi Photo from April 2-14, 2022.
