The Bau-Xi Gallery represents Canadian artists. We are interested in all contemporary media including painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media , sculpture, and photography.

The gallery welcomes submissions from artists seeking representation throughout the year. We do not accept exhibition proposals. We do not make appointments nor do we spontaneously view portfolios during gallery hours. Due to the time it takes to process submissions received via mail, the gallery encourages email submissions.

Subject line in the email should read "Portfolio Submission"
Option A: Send Website Information (Preferred)
Provide a link to your website/URL which contains images, contact information, artist curriculum vitae and artist statement

Option B: Email Images
-Attach 4 to 6 titled jpeg images, under 100 kilobytes each.
Please include the following information in the body of the email, or attached in .doc, .rtf or .pdf format:
- an image list which specifies titles, dates, media and the dimensions of each work
- a curriculum vitae and artist statement
- contact information
The email should not exceed 1 MB.

Option C: Mail/Drop Off
-If sending via mail or dropping off in gallery, we will accept printed photographs of no more than 8 images along with image details, curriculum vitae and artist statement.
-Clearly mark package "portfolio submission"
-CD-ROMs are acceptable
-Bound submissions are not encouraged
-Provide a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of materials.
