Counterpoint, from White Noise - Available in 4 sizes
Since 2002, water has allowed Barbara Cole to move the human figure in unconventional ways, becoming a natural lens that refocuses and reinterprets the painterly aesthetic. White Noise seeks to extrapolate from the watery matrix in which they began, a physical expression of the experience of selfhood. Seeing through water, rather than through air, the relationship to one’s surroundings is re-envisioned. The photographic process allows Cole the ability to play with the notions of time, and place.
The artist's archival photographs are mounted to an archival substrate. Please contact the gallery regarding availability. Prices are subject to change as the editions sell out.
