Steven Nederveen is a Toronto‑based mixed‑media artist whose contemplative landscapes and seascapes blur the boundaries between painting and photography, inviting viewers into moments of stillness, presence, and inner reflection.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, he studied fine art at Medicine Hat College and holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Alberta (1995). Nederveen’s signature mixed‑media process combines photographic imagery with painterly intervention.
Nederveen’s works are held in prominent private and public collections internationally, including Air Canada, the House of Armani, and the Canadian Embassy in Iceland, and have been exhibited across North America and in European art fairs and galleries.
