Now Representing Adrienne Dagg
Bau-Xi Gallery is pleased to welcome Alberta-based painter, Adrienne Dagg, to its roster of artists. Using oil as her primary medium, Dagg explores the dynamic power of figurative painting through a naturalistic and expressive style based on observation. Through the introduction of surrealist elements, the artist offers a keen insight into the character of her subjects as well as the social context of chosen events.
A recipient of the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields Award for figurative art, Adrienne Dagg graduated with a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal in 2011 and received her MFA from the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 2020. Her work has been exhibited in Canada and the United States and is held in many private collections. Adrienne Dagg currently lives and works from her studio in Edmonton, Alberta.
