For this body of work, photo-essayist and Emergency Medicine physician Brant Slomovic turned to his iPhone housed in a protective Ziploc® bag—a hack to limit contamination and spread of the virus and to ease disinfection. In effect, the resulting images evoke the strangeness and visceral experiences of working in a time that was anything but normal.
Slomovic's works are framed in a custom plexiglass box. Final framed works measure 6.5 X 9.75 X 2.5 inches.
